GloPay currently supports the following bank account types for payouts:
-
IBAN and SEPA: SEPA transfers in Europe always free of charge.
-
SWIFT: Fees vary depending on the currency and destination country.
-
ACH: Available for USD only; fees depend on the destination bank.
-
Fedwire: Available for USD transfers to US banks only; fees depend on the destination bank.
Additionally, GloPay allows freelancers to withdraw funds directly to their personal Revolut accounts. These transfers are completely free.
Bank Account Requirements
The bank account you add must be registered under your legal name, and you must provide the full bank account details. Depending on the account type, you will typically need to provide some or all of the following information:
-
Account holder name: This must match your legal name.
-
Account number
-
SWIFT/BIC code: Required for IBAN and SWIFT account types.
-
Routing number: Required for ACH and Fedwire account types.
-
Recipient address: The billing address your bank has on file for this specific account.
For personal Revolut accounts, you only need to provide your Revtag username.
Payout Currencies and Conversions
GloPay supports multiple payout currencies. Your bank account’s native currency can be different from your payout currency, provided your bank supports incoming transfers in the currency you select during the withdrawal request.
For example, if you withdraw EUR but your bank account is in SEK, GloPay will send EUR to your bank, and your bank will handle the conversion to SEK.
Please note: While this works in most cases, some banks do not accept incoming transfers in foreign currencies. Your bank may also charge an incoming transfer fee or an independent currency exchange fee. If you are unsure about your bank’s policies, please contact them directly before making a withdrawal.
